This policy applies to claytonsurf.com.au and describes how Clayton Surf ("we", "us") handles information collected when you use our enquiry forms - currently on the Trips and Boards pages.
When you submit an enquiry form, we collect:
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit this site and which pages they look at. It's built to be privacy-friendly by design: it doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't build a personal profile of you. It just counts visits and pages in aggregate - we can't identify you from it, and neither can Cloudflare.
Beyond that, we don't run any tracking scripts, ad pixels, or cookies of our own.
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry. We don't share your details with advertisers, or use your information for anything beyond replying to the message you sent us.
If that changes in future - for example, if we introduce an email newsletter - we'll update this policy and any sign-up will be a separate, clearly-labelled opt-in, not something bundled into an enquiry form.
Our forms are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service that forwards your submission directly to our inbox by email. Web3Forms is the only third party that handles your form data, and it does so purely to deliver your message to us - it doesn't appear anywhere else on this site. We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation, then delete them. If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, just ask - see contact details below.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do so, get in touch using the details below.
As Clayton Surf grows - for example, if we add a mailing list, online payments, or analytics - this policy will be updated to reflect that, and the "last updated" date at the top will change accordingly.
